| BACKGROUND |
| The HIV Service Delivery
Models Cooperative Agreements support
the implementation and evaluation
of innovative HIV service delivery
projects in comprehensive primary
care service delivery systems; coordinateddelivery
of HIV health and support services
to mobile populations; reduction of
cultural, linguistic and/or organizational
barriers to care; and provider training
and education models that increase
knowledge about HIV disease and treatment
for providers in rural areas and correctional
or mental health facilities. |
