This chapter provides a copy of the Ryan White Comprehensive AIDS Resources Emergency (CARE) Act Amendments of 1996 and the Ryan White CARE Act Amendments of 2000, prepared by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).

Title XXVI “HIV Health Care Services Program” of the Public Health Service Act was added by the Ryan White CARE Act of 1990 (Public Law 101-381), and the Ryan White CARE Act Amendments of 1996 and 2000.

Information pertaining to HRSA’s HIV/AIDS Bureau’s (HAB) AIDS Drug Assistance Programs (ADAPs) can be found in Section 2616, “Provision of Treatments.”
